Question 1

What is rigid LVT flooring?

Accepted Answer

Rigid LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) is an evolution of standard LVT that features a solid, dimensionally stable core — typically made from stone-plastic composite (SPC) or wood-plastic composite (WPC). This rigid core resists expansion and contraction, making it suitable for underfloor heating systems and large open areas without the need for expansion gaps.

Question 2

What styles are available in Bergo Rigid LVT at Floorna?

Accepted Answer

Floorna offers Bergo Rigid LVT in three distinct collections: Straight Planks for a classic wood-look layout, Herringbone for a premium parquet pattern, and Concrete Finish for an industrial or modern aesthetic. Each collection is available in multiple colourways and plank sizes.

Question 3

Is Bergo Rigid LVT compatible with underfloor heating?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bergo Rigid LVT is compatible with underfloor heating systems. Its rigid core construction means it does not expand and contract with temperature changes the way standard flexible LVT or laminate can. Always check the maximum surface temperature specification for the specific product before installation.

Question 4

How is Bergo Rigid LVT installed?

Accepted Answer

Bergo Rigid LVT uses a click-lock installation system, allowing planks to be installed as a floating floor without glue. This makes it faster to lay and easier to replace individual planks if needed. It can be installed directly over most existing subfloors provided they are clean, dry, and level.

Question 5

Can Bergo Rigid LVT be used in bathrooms and kitchens?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Like all LVT, Bergo Rigid LVT is 100% waterproof and highly suitable for wet rooms including bathrooms, kitchens, and utility rooms. Its rigid core adds additional dimensional stability compared to flexible LVT, reducing the risk of gapping or buckling in humidity-variable environments.
